We are the Huson 6 (for now)
We are the Huson family. We are a family of 6. Well, really only 5 at home. We are waiting to bring our son home from Ethioipia. With that being said please let me rewind and tell you our story. We began the adoption process back in 2009 when we were in the process of adopting a boy or girl or sibling group of up to 3 children with special needs. We waited for almost 1 year when we finally got our referral for a 13 month old little girl who had a cleft lip and palate. We knew that she was our girl. We knew that God would call us to the child he had planned for our family. That is our youngest child now. She is a little over 2 and has been home for almost a year. We are so blessed and she is doing so well. The doctors gave her a grim prognosis telling us that she would be likely be deaf, have speech issues and many more. Well she is defying all odds and we believe it is God who is healing our daughter and we just get to be his partner. SO amazing.
When we left Ethiopia last year we KNEW we would be back. Around June I started looking at waiting children lists and on list directed me to our agency and then on August 23 we met our son in pictures. He is a beautiful 5 year old boy who is very small for his age and has had tremendous loss in his short life. We are eagerly awaiting meeting him. We will be traveling to Ethiopia in the next couple weeks to meet our boy and tell him how loved he is
You see, with this being our second adoption in a year the cash flow is a little short. This is where we hope you will come in and support our last leg of our journey. We need about $6000 to finish our adoption. We know it is a large amount but know that God is behind our adopiton and will help this money come. Please if you feel compelled to donate we would grately appreciate it and if you don't please pray with us. Pray that the finances will come and also for the mending of our son's broken heart.
