The Brown Brigade

We are the Brown family. We are your typical, everyday family with a heart for children. We have four biological daughters and one son who waits in heaven with Jesus. About 8 years ago, God began to stir our hearts for orphans. We began to pray about what that meant for our family. 

In May of 2010, we began the domestic adoption process. But in December of 2010, God changed our course. Big time! God said, "Africa!" In Jan 2011, we learned about boy/girl twins in an orphanage in Africa. God has broken our hearts for these children and we have been on the ride of a lifetime ever since. 

One of the biggest hurdles with any adoption is finances. 

We have had yard sales, sold t-shirts, sold jewelry and our friends and family have joined our team by giving to towards our adoption. 

And we are soooooooo close. 

We leave in 35 days for Africa. And we need to raise the last $5000 to be able to travel home with them. This amount is large to us. But we know it isn't impossible to God. 

We are asking you to be a part of our team. First and foremost, please pray!! 

And if you feel led, please give. No amount is too small.
